Cos showcase wide range of green projects, products at IGBC show

Hyderabad Several real estate industry leaders, architects, interior designers, green product manufacturers and other stakeholders participated in the first edition of IGBC Green Property Show- India’s first-of-its-kind event hosted by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC)with the support of the Telangana government.

Bizz Buzz spoke with various exhibitors showcasing green properties, products & services at the three-day exhibition which kicked off on Friday. With over 75 stalls spread across 4,200 square metre of space at Hitex, the exhibition has brought together property developers, relevant product manufacturers, buyers, sustainable developers and investors who are inclined to purchase properties and products that are sustainable.

“In our stall, we showcased 3BHK& 4BHK premium luxury properties in ‘Alekhya Rise’ project which is IGBC platinum rated. There are lot of walk-ins. We are expecting the walk-ins to convert into bookings in next two days,” said Avinash, Assistant Sales Manager, Alekhya Homes, told Bizz Buzz.

“We always keep a stall in every reality expo in Hyderabad to showcase our projects. Now in IGBC Green property show, we are exhibiting our residential apartment project ‘The Tales of Greek’ which is IGBC platinum certified project located near Shamshabad. We are expecting to have good walk-ins at the exhibition,” said Jawahar, Assistant Manager, Suchirindia.

Companies that offer green products also put up their stalls at the exhibition.

“We are promoting our brand here and this exhibition is good place where property buyers can explore various projects. We are getting many enquiries about our furniture at our stall. As space is less to showcase all our products, we are asking them to visit our stores,” said Adi Venkatesh, Manager (Hyderabad region), Wooden Street.

Our main business comes from online where we have 40,000 products, so here customers can check our furniture quality before placing orders according to their needs on the website. We are expecting 2,000 to 3,000 visitors to our stall during the three days if there is no rainfall,” he added.

“We are typically into luxury segment like providing windows, and home automations. All our products IGBC certified. The exhibition enabled us to showcase our products to the builders. In next two days, we are expecting good numbers,” said Sudheer, Head (Automation Sales), Active.in.
